How to Invest in NAFA Funds/Plans?

In case you are a new investor please go to Step 1.

In case you are an existing investor please go to Step 2.

Step 1: Open an Account With us:

All investors must first open an account with NAFA before making any investment. Kindly complete the account opening form which can be obtained as follows:

a. Download an A/C Opening / Application form, Click here for the form.
(applicable for both Investment in NAFA Funds / Investment in NAFA Investment Plans)

b. Collect Account Opening Form from our NAFA Regional Offices (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office).

c. Collect Account Opening Form from our Premier Authorised NBP Branches (click here to find our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch).


Once the Investor Account has been opened, a NAFA Account No. will be allotted which would be used for all future investment and others transactions in NAFA Funds.

Step 2: Download the Investment Form.

Upon opening of NAFA account with us you can now make investments in our NAFA Funds. For making investment in NAFA funds, kindly complete the investment form which can be obtained as follows:

a. Download Investment Form as follows:

  1. For Investment in NAFA Funds (click here)
  2. For Investment in NAFA Investment Plans;

i. For investment in NAFA Savings Plans (click here)
ii. For investment in NAFA Riba Free Savings Plans (click here)

b. Collect the Investment Form from our NAFA Regional Offices (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office).

c. Collect the Investment Form form from our Premier Authorised NBP Branches (click here to find our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch).

Step 3: Fill out the above Forms & Attach Relevant Documents.

Please carefully read the instructions mentioned on the back side of the forms (Account Opening & Investment form) and attach the following relevant documents:

1. For Individual Investors

a. Copy of valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

Note: If your CNIC is expired and is submitted with NADRA for renewal; kindly attach the renewal slip. And once the CNIC is renewed please submit the renewed CNIC copy with us.

b. Zakat Affidavit (CZ-50) in case of Zakat Exemption

c. Proof of income like Job card / Employment Card / Visiting Card. (For individuals only)

d. Business/Employment Proof in case of Sole Proprietorship.

2. For Partnerships

a. Partnership Deed / Certificate of Registration.

b. Detail of Partners (Name, Address, Phone Numbers).

c. Copy of NIC of all partners.

d. Copy of latest Financials.

3. Corporate bodies, Registered societies, Institutions, Companies or Trusts

a. List of Authorized Signatories along with copies of CNIC and their specimen signatures.

b. Memorandum and Articles of Associations/Trust Deeds.

c. Copy of CNIC of all Directors/Trustees/ sole proprietor.

d. Board/Trustee/Governing body Resolution.

e. Copies of Certificates of Registrations.

f. Audited/Latest Financial of the Company.

g. Power of attorney and / or relevant resolutions of the board of directors delegating any of its. officers to open account with NAFA and invest in the fund and / or to realize the investments.

Step 4: Complete the Risk Profile

Complete the Risk Profile form (For Conventional Investments) which can be downloaded by (clicking here)

Complete the Risk Profile form (For Shariah Compliant Investments) which can be downloaded by (clicking here)

Step 5: Make Payment

1. Payment can be made in the form of:

a. Cross Cheque

b. Pay Order

c. Demand Draft

- Note: Cash will not be accepted.

2. Payment shall be made in favor of:

a. For Investment in Funds: CDC Trustee "Name of Respective NAFA Fund" & Incase of investment in NAFA Income Fund, NAFA Islamic Aggressive Income Fund & NAFA Riba Free Savings Fund: MCBFSL Trustee "Name of Respective NAFA Fund”

b. For Investment in Investment Plans: ‘CDC Trustee NAFA FUNDS’

Note: i) The payment instrument shall accompany the investment form.

* ii) If the investor uses cheque of another individual, than a third party declaration is also required (along with the form and payment instrument). For third party declaration please click here.

* Applicable for individuals only.


Step 6: Submit the Form and Documents

You can submit your duly filled Form (along with the payment instrument) in following ways:

a. By personally visiting nearest NAFA Regional Office (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office)

b. By personally visiting nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch (click here to find out our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch)

c. By personally visiting NBP Fullerton Asset Management Limited - Head Office, 7th floor Clifton Diamond Building, Block No. 4, Scheme No. 5, Clifton, Karachi

d. By sending through courier, addressing "The Transfer Agency Department , NBP Fullerton Asset Management Limited, 7th floor Clifton Diamond Building, Block No. 4, Scheme No. 5, Clifton, Karachi

Note:

- Your Form may not be processed if any discrepancy may arise

- Your Form will be processed as per business hours on each dealing day as announced by the Management Company from time to time. Currently Business Hours as announced by Management Company are as follows:

i. Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Friday: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for all NAFA Funds.
