How to Invest in NAFA Pension Funds?

Step 1: Open an Account With us:

All investors must first open an account with NAFA before making any investment. Kindly complete the account opening form which can be obtained by clicking the following link:

a. Click here for the form.

b. Collect Account Opening Form from our NAFA Regional Offices (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office).

c. Collect Account Opening Form from our Premier Authorised NBP Branches (click here to find our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch).


Once the Investor Account has been opened, a NAFA Account No. will be allotted which would be used for all transactions in NAFA Pension Funds.

Step 2: Download the Contribution Form.

Upon opening of NAFA account with us, you can now make investments in our NAFA Pension Funds. For making investment in NAFA Pension funds, kindly complete the contribution form which can be obtained as follows:

a. Download Contribution form as follows:

  1. For Self Contribution in NAFA Pension Funds: (click here)
  2. For Contribution by employer on behalf of employee in NAFA Pension Funds: (click here)

b. Collect the Investment Form from our NAFA Regional Offices (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office).

c. Collect the Investment Form from our Premier Authorised NBP Branches (click here to find our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch).

Step 3: Fill out the above Forms & Attach Relevant Documents.

Please carefully read the instructions mentioned on the back side of the forms (Account Opening & Investment form) and attach the following relevant documents:

1. For Individual Investors

a.Copy of valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Copy of valid Computerized National Identity card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

Note: If your CNIC is expired and is submitted with NADRA for renewal; kindly attach the renewal slip. And once the CNIC is renewed please submit the renewed CNIC copy with us.

b. Zakat Affidavit (CZ-50) in case of Zakat Exemption

c. Proof of income like Job card / Employment Card / Visiting Card. (For individuals only)

d. Business/Employment Proof in case of Sole Proprietorship.

2. Contribution by Employer on behalf of Employee(s):

a. Duly completed Account Opening Forms of all employees.

b. Copy of valid Computerized National Identity card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani (NICOP) or National Tax Number (NTN).

c. Detail of Employees on behalf of which the contribution is made.

d. Copy of Memorandum and Articles.

d. Board Resolution/or any other resolution applicable authorizing for contribution in NAFA Pension Funds

d. List of Authorized Signatories with specimen signatures.

d. Copy of CNIC of Signatories / Directors on behalf of the employer.

Step 4: Complete the Risk Profile

Complete the Risk Profile form which can be downloaded by (clicking here)

Step 5: Make Payment

1. Payment can be made in the form of:

a. Cross Cheque

b. Pay Order

c. Demand Draft

- Note: Cash will not be accepted.

2. Payment shall be made in favor of:

a. For investment in NAFA Pension Fund: “CDC Trustee-NAFA Pension Fund

b. For investment in NAFA Islamic Pension Fund: “CDC Trustee -NAFA Islamic Pension Fund

Note: The payment instrument shall be accompanied with the Contribution form.

Step 6: Submit the Form and Documents

You can submit your duly filled Form (along with the payment instrument) in following ways:

a. By personally visiting nearest NAFA Regional Office (click here to find our nearest NAFA Regional Office)

b. By personally visiting nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch (click here to find out our nearest Premier Authorised NBP Branch)

c. By personally visiting NBP Fullerton Asset Management Limited - Head Office, 7th floor Clifton Diamond Building, Block No. 4, Scheme No. 5, Clifton, Karachi

d. By sending through courier, addressing "The Transfer Agency Department , NBP Fullerton Asset Management Limited, 7th floor Clifton Diamond Building, Block No. 4, Scheme No. 5, Clifton, Karachi

Note:

- Your Form may not be processed if any discrepancy may arise

- Unit will be issued upon realization of Funds.

- Your Form will be processed as per business hours on each dealing day as announced by the Management Company from time to time. Currently Business Hours as announced by Management Company are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Friday: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for all NAFA Funds. click here for details.
